Email for AI Agents

I've been building out my Hermes setup and needed a solution for sending/receiving emails that wasn't too involved. I didn't really love most of the options I came across initially, so I searched a little further and eventually came across OpenMail. I figured I would share my experience as it was basically exactly what I was looking for and has been really nice to setup and use so far.

It took me less than ten minutes to create an account, setup a new inbox (for example myagent@openmail.sh), configure hermes to use it and then customize it some for my use case and test it out. There are more advanced features that I haven't played with yet, and you can setup custom domains etc. but there really isn't too much to do to have a fully automated email workflow up and running.

If you're looking for a solution for emails in whichever ai agent(s) or projects you are working on, definitely consider trying them out. That's all I have - I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far... And I'm back to anything other than emails 🙃
